The Danish pair ASTRUP/RASMUSSEN is in the semifinals!

Kim ASTRUP and Anders Skaarup RASMUSSEN (n°6, Denmark) will be the only European in the semifinals of the men’s double draw. Opposed to the Indonesian Fajar ALFIAN and Muhammad Rian ARDIANTO (n°4), they managed to beat them in 2 sets 21/18 21/15.

Kim ASTRUP: "I think we had to win. In the 1st set, we made a few mistakes, but we recovered at the right moment. After that, our confidence grew, and we played much better. So, I'm really happy! Now we're going to concentrate on giving our best tomorrow and see what happens."

Skaarup RASMUSSEN: "We're going to do what we always do to prepare ourselves and establish what we hope will be effective tactics. We're getting better and better at every tournament. Today was more difficult than yesterday, so I'm really happy with our performance."

The Danish will be playing in the semifinals against the Chinese LIU Yu Chen and OU Xuan Yi (n°8).

The other Danish pair KJÆR and SØGAARD lost 11/21 17/21 against the Indonesians FIKRI and MAULANA (n°12), whose are playing the Chinese HE Ji Ting et REN Xiang Yu (n° 125) in the second semifinal.
