Olympic Champion, Viktor AXELSEN (n°1 - Denmark) will face Kenta NISHIMOTO (n°15 - Japan) for first match. CHOU Tien Chen (n°4 - Taipei), who was finalist in 2021, will try to take gold medal this year. But first, he could be opposed to Kento MOMOTA (n°5 - Japan), in quarter finals. French player, Toma Junior POPOV (n°22) should also be in this part of the draw. In the second part of the draw, there will be a 100% danish match with n°2 Anders ANTONSEN, against Rasmus GEMKE (n°13).

Impressive japanese player, Akane YAMAGUCHI, world number 1 and World Champion, will be in Coubertin to save her title. She will face Michelle LI (n°13 - Canada), who just won Canada Open, in first round. In same part of the draw, the Spanish Carolina MARIN (n°4), European Champion, will try to win again in Paris, after the first place in 2015 and a second place in 2019. In second part of the draw, Olympic Champion CHEN Yu Fei (n°4 - China) should be opposed to her compatriot HE Bing Jiao (n°10) in quarter finals. 

World Champions, Aaron CHIA/Wooi Yik SOH (n°4 - Malaisia) and Indonesians Fajar ALFIAN/Muhammad Rian ARDIANTO (n°6), who where at the third place, last year, are waited in this new edition. Two pairs should, logically, be opposed in quarter finals. Marcus Fernaldi GIDEON/Kevin Sanjaya SUKAMULJO (n°2 - Indonesia), adored by badminton fans, will come in Paris with the title as main objective, after being at the second place in 2021. 

French players, Christo POPOV/Toma Junior POPOV (n°22) have a first complicated game against Indians, SHETTY/RANKIREDDY (n°8). If the brothers win this match, they sould be faced, at second tour, the other French pair, Lucas CORVÉE/Ronan LABAR (n°43), who are firt opposed to Malaisians MAN/TEE (n°24).

World number 1 and World Champions, CHEN Qing Chen et JIA Yi Fan (China) have a chance to win French Open ! For their first game, they will be opposed to STOEVA sisters (n°10). Bulgarian players, who played for several years near Paris with Issy-les-Moulineaux, are well known in France. In the second part of the draw, French players Margot LAMBERT/Anne TRAN (n°38) will be opposed to KIM So Yeong/KONG Hee Yong (n°2) for a first complicated match. Corean players will try to win the title this year, after being at the second place last year.

Japanese pair WATANABE/HIGASHINO (n°2), winner in 2021, will try to save its title this year again. The Japanese should meet Malaisians GOH/LAI (n°13) at the second round, before, maybe, be opposed to Frenchies Thom GICQUEL et Delphine DELRUE (n°7) in quarter finals. In first round, Thom and Delphine, will play against Taipei players, LEE/HSU (n°35).
